Jan
Brand, Director of Training, has led the Ebby Career Development department since
1998. She is responsible for selecting and training agents as well as providing
company-wide continuing education for Ebby's 1,200 sales associates. With a background
in the legal field, Jan began her real estate career in 1976 as a leasing agent.
In 1977, she specialized in residential sales achieving Multi Million Dollar Production
until 1983 when she opted to pursue management. Jan managed the Ebby Halliday
Home Team's Richardson office for 15 years, recruiting, training and guiding it
to standing as one of the strongest offices in the organization.
Jan is an active
member of the Greater Dallas Assocation of REALTORS, serving on many committees
and graduating from the GDAR Leadership Class. She is a Broker and holds the designations
of ABR (Accredited Buyer Representation), CRB (Certified Real Estate Brokerage
Management), GRI (Graduate, Real Estate Institute), and CRS (Certified Residential
Specialist).
